"You know when you lie to yourself."

Something inside will tug at you... telling you to turn back around and face the truth of the lie you told yourself. The strength of the tug probably depends on your life experience - one's pain is relative to the ones they've felt previously.

Maybe it's tears, or a sting in the chest.

The question you ask might be something like 'am I right?', 'is this too trivial to address?', 'what will others think?'... something along the lines about the effects of your lying to yourself.

It's a tough thing to lie and keep it up, especially when the seams you've woven don't match with the real weavings of your stories, your statements.

Please don't hurt yourself this way ^^;. Be honest. To yourself, especially. Face it until you make it.
