It seems that every small thing we do - routines are a big one, because they are repeated - achieves this result in our lives. If we want to change, it'll have to begin by changing the things that are repeated, because repetitive activity results in something larger - one day of brushing your teeth doesn't do much, but in the long run it's so important. It's the same case with health-related activities like diets.
A seedling needs to be tended regularly to become something bigger...
