"If you try to be like someone else, you will utterly fail."

It's a quote I summarised from Leo F. Buscaglia's book Living, Loving, Learning. I totally recommend it - it's a book about Love all around. It's an easy, refreshing read that brings to light the things we've lost in our busy daily routines.

But he's right. Think of different flowers and plants - they all have different requirements to grow. Each need different levels of sunlight, water, and nutrients from different types of earth. Likewise, different people (different backgrounds and stories especially) need to treat their lives according to their situation. You don't give the same solution to different patients with different illnesses, after all, though this analogy may be a little extreme in this case.

Looks like this is the best we got.
