"Don't take it the wrong way."

There's a lot of ways this post can go based on the title. Today I refer to ensuring clarity in communication.

Your close ones - friends, family (who know you in real life) - know you better. They get your communication habits better than a stranger, so they understand the jist of talking to you.

However! When it comes to strangers, our little perky parts in communication methods should probably be kept in check. Maybe that thing that you 'do to everyone' (in which case you only really do to the people you know), shouldn't be done to strangers. The risks are the strangers taking the wrong way, and well, if communication method doesn't convey the right meaning then it's bound for some misunderstanding that with require tidying up. Don't risk that.
