"Face it until you make it."

This is my version, different from the common "Fake it until you make it.".

Both quotes are encouraging the person to get moving - to move forward with whatever life throws them with. But the difference between the words 'face' and 'fake' change the tone of this quote.

In my opinion, 'fake it until you make it' sounds like it is going against what you want - that it's forcing an uncomfortable facade upon yourself. While it is true that we all have our social facades and private identities, neither should feel forced all the time. Can we really fake our way up to our goals?

So, my version uses the word 'face', because it refers to coming against the music, embracing it and going on through. We can either take what life gives us or reject it, for it will always be here. Even better, we can embrace these life-events, obstacles and such.

So, face and embrace ^^ 'till you make it. What do you think?
